Sunday Lunch

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

                                            -Acts 2:42

We hold a soup and sandwich lunch on the fourth Sunday of each month after our Sunday worship service, from September until June. It is an outreach for anyone in the community, who is in need of a home cooked meal. It is supported with prayer, food, and monetary donations by the St. James congregation. We are continually looking for volunteers and support.

If you have any questions or would like to help out with this ministry, please contact Karen MacLeod .

St. James Presbyterian Church recognizes the support of the Province of Nova Scotia. We are pleased to work in partnership with the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage to develop and promote our cultural resources for all Nova Scotians. St. James has received a one time grant from the Feeding Communities Fund for our Community Sunday Lunch. We are very grateful and thankful for this money to help feed people in our community.
